Import monitors from a CSV file

Moving from another tool, or setting up a client with fifty sites? Import them in one go instead of filling the form fifty times.

Updated 25 October 2026 · By the Upcertain team

Start an import

Next to New monitor, open the menu and choose Import from CSV. Upload a file or paste the text.

The simplest file

One URL or host per line, no header. Each line becomes an HTTP monitor with the default interval:

https://example.com
https://example.com/login
https://api.example.com/health

With columns

With a header row, Upcertain reads these columns; leave out the ones you do not need:

Preview and limits

  • Every row is shown before anything is created, with the monitor it will become or the reason it cannot.
  • Up to 200 rows per import.
  • Monitors beyond your plan's active limit are created paused, not refused.
  • Intervals faster than your plan allows are raised to the fastest allowed.

Pick the alert channels for the imported monitors on the import page. Review confirmation checks afterwards, or set them for all at once with Confirmation on the monitor list.
