Refund policy

Last updated 2 November 2026

Upcertain's paid plans are monthly or yearly subscriptions. Payments are processed by Lemon Squeezy, our merchant of record, so refunds are issued by Lemon Squeezy to the payment method you used.

14-day refund

  • First payment: if a paid plan is not right for you, ask within 14 days of your first payment for it and we refund that payment in full, monthly or yearly.
  • Annual renewals: ask within 14 days of the renewal date and we refund the renewal in full.
  • Monthly renewals are not refunded. Cancel before the renewal date and you are not charged again.

A refund includes any sales tax or VAT charged with the payment. You do not need to give a reason.

How to ask

Email info@upcertain.com from the account owner's address with the account name and the date of the payment. The refund goes back to the payment method you used; when it reaches your account depends on your bank or card issuer.

What happens to your account

A refunded subscription ends straight away and the account moves to the free plan. Nothing is deleted: your monitors, incidents and status pages stay, and monitors over the free plan's limit are paused until you choose a paid plan again.

Cancelling without a refund

You can cancel at any time. The plan stays active until the end of the period you paid for and then moves to the free plan.

Before a chargeback

Please write to us before disputing a charge with your bank. Within the 14 days a refund is the quicker route, and after them we still look at every payment problem.
